It's been so long and so much has happened

I always forget that this posts things in reverse so please go to the bottom and scroll up to see the pictures in chronological order.

Here is our little man, Chase Alexander, smiling in his sleep... or passing gas (since babies tend to smile when the bubbles travel:) He was born on October 20, 2010 at 12:24PM. He was 20.5 inches and 8.5lbs.
Cooing at Daddy.
Don't you just love the hair?! We don't style it that way by any means- it does it all on it's own and has since the day he was born. It is almost 2 inches long by now and as you can see stands straight up.
Proud Sister

This was day one in the hospital.

Mimi and Daddy getting face time with Chase.
Our Operating Room nurse helped Ricky get dressed to go in to the room with me. He had to wear the "bunny suit" I had told him but he didn't get why they called it that- the nurse helped Ricky to understand why with a few little accessories.
We hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will be posting more news from the Frohnerath's soon as much will be happening in the next few weeks.

Just Jocelyn

This posting are not in order according to date at all. I will give you all a brief synopsis of them though to help put them in order. Nana Frohnerath is spending a lot more time with Jocelyn now that she is retired. Consequently we are getting a lot more pictures of Jocelyn, which we love. Below are some of Jocelyn and Nana doing the dishes sometime in the last few months. Pop Pop Frohnerath gets to spend more time with Joss because Nana usually watches her at their house. Pop Pop is teaching Jocelyn some computer applications. (I am quite sure that Jocelyn will be more accomplished at the computer in a few years than I ever will be.)
The rest of the shots are just hanging around Nana and Pop Pop's house playing around.

And...just in case you didn't already know. Jocelyn has an announcement to make!

Yes, we are expecting our second child in the later part of October. Our due date is October 24th but because we will be having a c-section again, we will update you on the planned date of birth when the time gets closer. Unless of course...this little one makes a surprise visit before the doctor's have their say.

The next pictures are from a day that we went to Animal Kingdom with Ricky's family. It is also the day that we announced our good news to them via Jocelyn's outfit.

I will fly..

My good friend, who I spent far too little time with, Bettina Carrocetto (in the middle wearing a chocolate colored dress)was killed in a car accident on Wednesday. She was an amazing person, a smile that would clear the skies of a hurricane, and a spirit that will always give me the encouragement I need. We didn't have enough good times together and I will miss you.

Catching Up!

Jocelyn and Grandma playing around at Christmas time.

Jocelyn and her first exploration of the Christmas tree.

Here Jocelyn is at her friend Myla Belle's 1st Birthday party.
She loved riding the pony.

Here is Jocelyn smashing the cake on her first birthday.
She didn't really even eat any of it.
Perhaps she doesn't have her mother's sweet tooth.

Here she is checking out one of her new toys.
It's a fridge toy that she loves to push the buttons on.

Frohnerath Family Halloween

Here are some snapshots of this past weekend. Rick and Deb Frohnerath (Ricky's parents) took all of us to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween and the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. It was SOO nice of them and we had such a great time. As you can see the Frohneraths were Star Wars Characters. Jeff and Erica (Ricky's Sister and Brother-in-law) were a delightful pair- Snow White and Prince Charming. Jocelyn was a perfect little girl- she enjoyed the whole weekend and was smiles almost the entire time. Between Epcot during the day and Magic Kingdom Halloween night I think we ended up wearing her out and she started to fuss around about 10PM-- but we had definitely challenged her endurance all day. She is so much fun. I think I need to purchase her a girly hat though instead of wearing her cousin Ben's hand me down- a lot of people confused her for a boy- and looking at the pictures I can see why. Her Halloween shirt had ruffles on the sleeves though!
