Picture Update

Sorry it has been a month since my last blog entry!
Jocelyn has grown so much in the last 2 months- 2 inches in height to be precise. She will be 3 months old on the 8th of March. She now weighs a little over 11 lbs and measures 21.75 in. She is in the 50th percentiles for weight and head circumference but in the
75th percentile for height!
She is starting to really share with us her personality, and boy is cute. She loves to smile, coo and giggle at us. Sometimes though I think she gets a kick out of her own body rather than us and the faces we make at her. Ricky and I both love being parents and agree that we are blessed to have her.

Jocelyn and Company

Sorry these aren't in sequential order- this picture was taken today 1/4/09.

Jocelyn throwing her first punch at her big cousin Ben, just in case there is such a thing as cousin rivalvry. Actually, Ben was so good with Jocelyn. He managed to get her to sleep a couple of times. Go Ben!

Cousin Lilah getting a little snuggle time with Jocelyn.

This was the Maus crew on our Christmas day shooting off Ben's Hydrogen powered rocket that he got from Grandma and Bob-bob. That was a lot of fun.

Enjoying the Florida Christmas weather!

Uncle Russell and Jocelyn

Here we are visiting our friends the Ogles- Austin is giving you his "handsome" face. Isn't it Handsome? He is so fun to hang with.

At the crib

We've been happily living at home these last couple days. Here are a few random shots we'd like to share with you all.

A Happy Family

We're so blessed to have such loving family and friends share in this momentous event in some way or another, be it text messages, phone calls, and hospital visits. Here are some more photos from our time at the hospital.

Sleepy head

It's funny how time flies during the first days following birth. You realize just how important the simple things are: eating, burping (and other bodily functions), and of course, sleep. Here are some photos of Jocelyn demonstrating the later of these.

We're continuing to do well recovering and learning some of the important tricks of parenting. Tomorrow will be an exciting day as we get to make the trip home with our little girl.
