Here Uncle Jeff is teaching Jocelyn about altitude and how fun it is. Jocelyn is also teaching Uncle Jeff about how to work your shoulders with approximately 13 lbs.

Uncle Jeff wanted to show us all how to correctly wear a baby.

I really wish that there was something like this in Florida. I love going to gardens and seeing the handiwork of God in combination with our human hands.

Don't you just love Hydrangeas? They remind me of my Grandma Dohm. She had a whole wall of Hydrangea plants in her backyard.

Here is the Frohnerath Family standing in front of Mr. Rogers old house that he once raised his children in. Yes- the sweater wearing, neighborhood loving, make-believe land Mr. Rogers. Both Ricky and I watched him in our youth and it was very neat to see his old home in Pittsburgh. (Ricky's Aunt and Uncle lived nearly just behind him.)

Jocelyn loves her binky and really didn't want to give it up for the next photo.

The Little Girl Lately

She is getting so strong! She has pretty good head control and just last Tuesday she rolled over for the first time without any help. It was so easy for her it seems- just one attempt and she got it right away. We are beginning to see how busy our life is going to be once she really is mobile.
This is Jocelyn's first swim in Grandma, Bob-bob and Cynthia's Pool. She wasn't quite sure about the whole thing but didn't fuss at all. I am sure that by the end of the summer she will be all smiles in the pool.

Picture Update

Sorry it has been a month since my last blog entry!
Jocelyn has grown so much in the last 2 months- 2 inches in height to be precise. She will be 3 months old on the 8th of March. She now weighs a little over 11 lbs and measures 21.75 in. She is in the 50th percentiles for weight and head circumference but in the 75th percentile for height!
She is starting to really share with us her personality, and boy is cute. She loves to smile, coo and giggle at us. Sometimes though I think she gets a kick out of her own body rather than us and the faces we make at her. Ricky and I both love being parents and agree that we are blessed to have her.

A Visit with Austin and Alyson

I had to put this picture on the blog for you all. This is Austin, the son of my friend Alyson (for those of you who don't know). He was getting ready to leave after visiting with us at my mom's house on Wednesday and spontaneously came over and gave Jocelyn this hug. It was so cute. As you can see, Jocelyn isn't quite sure about this "squeeze" but she was a good sport. More pictures from the last few weeks are to come. Jocelyn is growing up too fast for mommy to handle. I didn't believe it when people said that the time will fly. I do now!
