Jocelyn's First Solid Food
This is a progression of pictures of Jocelyn's first taste and feel of solid foods (rice cereal). So far, I think she actually pushed out of her mouth more than I gave her- something like the fishes and the loaves. Still, it was pretty neat to have her sitting at the dinner table with her spoon in hand. She is getting so big and growing up so fast. You have to hurry up and love her every second of every day because she changes and develops in the blink of an eye. Who and what she was as a baby yesterday, is different today. It is such a miracle and a blessing to be her mom. YOU ARE A GREAT GOD!!

Jocelyn Making the Moves
So Jocelyn is now getting really close to creeping. She is on her hands and knees and rocking and sometimes launching herself forward with her legs. She hasn't yet learned how to use her arms at the same time. She will get there soon enough and then we will definitely have our hands full. She is not satisfied staying in one place.

Our Little Cowgirl

This is Jocelyn's first horseback ride. Thank you to Carol for holding Foxy the horse for us. Her Grandpa Maus (BobBob) and I give her a little support. In the next pictures it is quite apparent that she knows exactly what you are supposed to do.

Jocelyn grabbed the reins herself although it doesn't look like she did considering my hand was on top of hers. Of course, I don't think she got the true purpose of the reins...

In the next second following this photo, the reins were in her mouth. I don't think she was trying to be a trick rider yet but you never know. I am sure that she will make her mother's heart stop from all the tricks she will be pulling on horseback in the years to come. She has all the gumption her mother does and some athleticism to support her antics.

Jocelyn's Baptism
Jocelyn was baptised on April 26th at our church, St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Our wonderful pastor Fr. Malley made the sacrament very special and beautiful for us. Leah's cousin Sarah Reed and our family friend Lou Gregor are Jocelyn's Godparents.
Here is most of the family. Some heads were cut off and some people all together weren't captured but I thought I would share what we did get. Not pictured is Leah's Godmother, Marva Grelle, Her Uncle Gerry, Claire Reed, Grandpa Maus(aka BobBob), Grandma Frohnerath, Nana Musser, Andrea Gregor and Connie Menz. Now that I list who wasn't in the picture- it looks like we needed to hire a professional to get the shots of the day afterall.

Jocelyn loves her Grandpa Frohnerath. She giggles at him all the time. The thing is, he giggles at her just as much. They must think that each other are the funniest people in the world.

Pittsburgh Trip
The Frohnerath Family
Leah, Jocelyn, Ricky, Rick, Deborah, Erica and Jeff
Here Uncle Jeff is teaching Jocelyn about altitude and how fun it is. Jocelyn is also teaching Uncle Jeff about how to work your shoulders with approximately 13 lbs.
Rick, Leah, Uncle Jeff wearing Jocelyn and Erica at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburg. Behind the camera is Deborah. Ricky had some homework to do so he stayed back at the hotel and missed this adventure.
Don't you just love Hydrangeas? They remind me of my Grandma Dohm. She had a whole wall of Hydrangea plants in her backyard.
"It's a beautiful day in the Neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood, Won't you be mine?" Here is the Frohnerath Family standing in front of Mr. Rogers old house that he once raised his children in. Yes- the sweater wearing, neighborhood loving, make-believe land Mr. Rogers. Both Ricky and I watched him in our youth and it was very neat to see his old home in Pittsburgh. (Ricky's Aunt and Uncle lived nearly just behind him.)
Jocelyn loves her binky and really didn't want to give it up for the next photo.

Here is Jocelyn smiling and having fun with her Aunt Erica while Uncle Jeff looks on at the rehearsal dinner for our cousin Matt's Wedding.

Uncle Jeff had a ball with Jocelyn this weekend. They are going to be TIGHT!
